OUR WHOLE TEAM
MADISON Hometown: Murray, UT What is your the most fun biking memory? I had an awesome opportunity to go on a MTB Retreat with And She's Dope Too out in Moab. This weekend was jam packed full of challenging rides, rad ladies and laughter. I was able to fine tune some skills, and ride some awesome slick rock trails. I didn't know anyone going into this, but was able to leave with new friends. There was one ride in particular that I couldn't get up this obstacle on the first try. I had to try it a couple of times, and from pure stubbornness and some encouragement I was able to eventually complete the climb. I was greeted with hootin and hollerin. It just goes to show that this weekend no one came in with an ego, and just wanted to have fun. This weekend was so memorable from all the inspiring women, inspiring trails and of course 3 days on the wheels. Whats next in your two wheeled progression? I am really looking forward to being able to just crush out longer miles, and get better at technical climbing. This is definitely further down the road, but I would love to try doing a race. What do you do when you're not biking? Well.....(in no particular order) I love running, filling out junior ranger books, canyoneering, backpacking, summiting mountains, hugging trees, cooking/baking, crafting, reading, public land advocacy, and snuggling with dogs. If you could craft a triathlon, in what three events would you be unstoppable? Cook the best gourmet meal, go on a long distance trail run, then outlast all my competitors snuggling in a puppy pile. What food is your guilty pleasure? Cookies and Tortilla Chips with Salsa/Guac Favorite 90's jam? The real question is... What song don't I like from the 90's? What question should you have been asked? Favorite Greater Zion trail........ Wire Mesa, it offers everything this area has to offer. I always find a way to challenge myself, while also having a blast out there. Plus it has aaaammmmaaaazzzziiiinnnnnggggg views. |
