OUR WHOLE TEAM
VICTORIA HOMETOWN: The Shire What is your the most fun biking memory? Some of my most fun memories come from biking with people who are working at growing their bike progression and being able to watch them reach a goal and how much excitement that comes from it. It is contagious. However, I did go biking in Rotorua, New Zealand once. That was a really rad experience to check off the list and will be one of my favorite memories for a while. Whats next in your two wheeled progression? I would like to grow my mechanic skills in order to be more confident working on bikes out on the trail and help mentor other women in our bike mechanic program. What do you do when you're not biking? Biking takes up a big part of my week with work and I coordinate community rides in my free time. But if the weather isn't great for being out on the trails, or I feel like being inside, you can find me reading, dreaming about having a bunny, watching anime and baking things! If you could craft a triathlon, in what three events would you be unstoppable? Baking chocolate chip cookies, puting butter on things, procrastinating coming up with a triathlon agenda What food is your guilty pleasure? Dr. Pepper Favorite 90's jam? Blink-182 What question should you have been asked? What does biking mean to me and how does it fit into my life? Mountain bikes and mechanic work are a passion of mine. I have found it to be my way of helping others and adding to a healthy community around me. I really enjoy mechanic work and being a positive support system for others to help them grow their biking and mechanic skills. I want to continue increasing access to these things for everyone. I want to continue to give back to locals who want a safe space to come out and enjoy the hobby of mountain biking by offering fun community bike rides in the area. Later down the road I would love to open up a tool library where people can come in and work on their bikes or cars and borrow tools which may not be accessible otherwise. |
